Activated carbon adsorption concentration thermal desorption catalytic combustion system


This technology directly adsorbs and concentrates organic gases through adsorption media such as activated carbon, and then uses hot air for desorption and catalytic combustion to treat VOCs in exhaust gas. The purification rate of organic waste gas can reach 90% to 95%. The low-concentration exhaust gas is adsorbed and concentrated, and then converted into CO2 and H2O through catalytic combustion, which can greatly reduce the processing cost of the enterprise. It is widely used in the treatment of low-concentration and high-volume exhaust gas in spraying, printing, furniture and other industries.
Process flow description
The organic waste gas is first filtered through the pretreatment device, and then enters the activated carbon adsorption unit for adsorption, and the purified air is discharged into the atmosphere. After the adsorption unit is saturated with adsorption, the heat from the upper and lower heat exchange chambers of the catalytic decomposition chamber is used, and the heat energy is sent to the unit for desorption through a high-temperature fan. The desorbed concentrated organic waste gas is returned to the catalytic decomposition chamber through the pipeline for decomposition and combustion The thermal energy generated later is recycled, and the electrical energy required for catalytic decomposition heating is reduced at the same time.
The device is designed by the process flow of pretreatment→activated carbon adsorption→desorption regeneration→catalytic combustion, and adopts multi-gas path working mode. The working process is: after the exhaust gas is collected and pretreated to remove particulate matter or water mist, it is sent to the activated carbon adsorber for adsorption, and the adsorbed exhaust gas is discharged at high altitude. When the activated carbon is almost saturated, the adsorption operation is stopped, and then the hot air flow after the catalytic combustion is used to desorb the organic matter from the activated carbon to regenerate it. During desorption and desorption, the adsorption box stops working. The desorbed organic matter has been concentrated (the concentration is dozens of times higher than the original, reaching more than 2000ppm), and sent to the catalytic burner to be catalyzed as CO2 and H2O to be discharged.
